LOL, I am meeting that guy at MCD's this weekend! There is a motored bike forum too, he found me on there. Just a few Hawaii guys on the forum.
I replaced the digital speedo with a mechanical, more retro look! Also replaced the cheap china plug with a NGK, upgraded the ignition wire, and did some little tweaking on the bike.
Been riding it every day, motor should be close to broken in now! Been having a blast cruising it around base!

2X I haven't heard from him in about 5 years, ever since he retired from Hawn Tel then got a new job. The first guy won't be too happy when his loincloth gets sucked into the back wheel.

He said hi to all the cruisers! I got my list done on the camaro, so spent so time doing some upgrades on the bike. One plus is parts are MUCh cheaper than my cars! I got new heavy duty rims with motorcycle spokes, a 36 tooth rear sprocket (down from 44 for more top end), a pull rear brake and a trick dual pull lever so I can pull both brakes and the clutch all at once. The spocket was a nice upgrade, gained about 7 MPH on the top end, and it is not buzzing nearly as high at 25.

Had a fun day hanging out with Myron and riding some today. He was very suprised that Wes remembered him, and said to tell everyone hi. I Got to check out the Chevy in depth. Like listed above, it is a 383 4 speed car. he also did a disc brake conversion. It had a 5 speed, but he switched back. He took off the intake to put a blower on it, and then with ther track closing and all, he lost interest. He agreed to sell it with his wife, but he is dragging his feet on it. The 1/4 has a big hole fron rust at the base of the roof, I asked him to at least duct tape it up to keep the water out. It could still be saved, and is sure a project car at this point. On the bikes, Myron wanted me to help with a vid, so I made a little youtibe clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kzyu59OuyO8Ed

Got an email from Myron this am, he wants to get the Chevy on the road now. He needs a SBC 4 barrel intake. Anyone have one for a low price?
