Laguna Seca BOSS 302? Shocked

Is Chevy playing catch-up again, or are they ahead of the field this time?

I think the LS-B302 has been out for a few months.  It's biggest feature was supposed to be a red "Track Key" you use to start the car instead of the regular key.  Supposedly the red key changes the tune for better on-track performance.  AFAIK the red keys haven't been released to owners yet.  I don't really keep up with it but that's what I've heard through the grape vine.  I'm sure you could find more with a Google search if you were so inclined Smiley

IMHO from what I've been reading in the car porn mags, looks like the mustang camaro thing is back in full swing. All the mustangs next year will be comming out with horsepower gains to get them closer to the camaro numbers so in that sence alone chevy was leading, the whole ZL1 thing was about chevy keeping up with the higher end mustangs, so in taht sence Ford was leading, to me it's all great news, love it, everybit of it, compitition is good for muscle cars, brings out the best in both, and we get to reap the benifits. Both makes have somthing to be proud of, the days of modifing a stock car to perform the way you want it are fading, falls right into this checkbook racers philosophy, simply buy the speciality edition that suits your needs the best, I know they offer a non street leagle drag setup for the challenger, but road race car, show car, drag racer, they have em all. Whats your pleasure?
