BBQ

Last one iirc was in January... Maybe 31st of March or April "Fools Day"... I should be more mobile by then... We could call it a Spring Break or Easter "BBQ"... Just wondering...

Scott, kinda hard to justify another BBQ when hardly anyone even showed up for a simple movie night.  People need to start showing up to events if we expect to put on more of them on.  I'm hoping to do a Trail Cruise on April 15th, that should satisfy your thirst for something to do.  We also have our Summer Cruises coming up in May, June, July, August and September.  A Gun Range Day will be in there somewhere, and I wouldn't mind Bill's idea of bowling...   but, if you are really down for a BBQ, the weekend of April 1st would be a good one.  Let's hear from other members and go from there.

Why do we need a big turnout to justify an event? I think those who attend have a good time regardless of the number of attendees. Look at the last trail cruise. Started out so many guys saying "I'm there", blah, blah, blah, then all the excuses pour out. It didn't matter to me or Scotty if more had showed or not. We had a total blast. I'm thinking have a BBQ right after the rainy season!!

I'm usually down for what ever, as long as I don't have to work that day.

I leave again April 19th, if it's before that I am in. Otherwise I am pretty booked until mid July.

Well, weekends for me are pretty much reserved for truck work right now.  Then, baby comes and it's all downhill from there.  If it's a night/afternoon thing, then I would come.

Nah, I feel ya, Tommy.  ...and you're right.  I need to learn to adpot that attitude.  I really would like to see this club come together more often and in greater numbers, but like you've said...  you can't please all the people all the time.  I'm always down to set up and organize an event.  So, if a BBQ request has gone out, well see what we can do.  I like the idea of the first of April.  Let's see what more members say....

I haven't set the routes for the Cruises yet...  one could certainly be a cruise to a BBQ...  maybe the June Cruise...  May and September are Night Cruises...  July is the Big One...  full 'round da island, brah!
